The Fast Trak Lead Scientist for Cytiva is responsible for < Delivering upstream process development and trainings to Cytivas Biopharmaceutical customers>
This position is part of the Clinical Programs Organization/Fast Trak Process Development Services located in Bangalore and will be an On-site role. At Cytiva our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead and independently deliver upstream process development projects for various application areas (e.g. Monoclonal Antibodies (MAbs) vaccines recombinant proteins pDNA mRNA) to meet required quality and timelines.
- Lead large/complex customer projects independently from end to end with full accountability incl. proposal writing project planning definition of experimental strategy and execution coordination of other team members participating in project when relevant.
- Deliver full content in various training courses for customers theoretical as well as practical in the field of upstream biomanufacturing lead course update and participate in new course development projects
- Main point of contact to customers in complex projects activities and discussions.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Earned a PhD/MTech/MSc degree in Life Sciences Chemical Engineering or related Life Sciences field; with 7 years or more of hands-on cell culture and upstream process development experience.
- Understanding of principles and theory behind bioreactor cultivation for processing biologicals with knowledge in principles of process development scale-up validation single-use hybrid and traditional set ups
- Able to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to influence others using scientific & logical reasoning. Ability and willingness to mentor colleagues in their scientific career.
- Excellent communicator with English language proficiency with demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative matrixed and customer focused environment.
