Lead QA Automation Engineer (Python Networking & AI-Assisted Testing)
About the Role
We are looking for a Lead QA Automation Engineer to support enterprise networking and security products. The role focuses on building and enhancing automation frameworks validating backend services integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines and leveraging AI-driven tools to improve quality and productivity.
The ideal candidate combines strong Python automation skills with networking knowledge Linux expertise and a proactive approach to leveraging AI-driven tools throughout the SDLC.
Required Skills & Experience
7 years of QA Automation experience.
Strong Python programming and test automation expertise.
Experience with automation frameworks test design and CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on API and backend testing experience.
Strong Linux administration and Bash/Shell scripting skills.
Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP routing switching firewalls and network protocols).
Ability to independently design test scenarios automate workflows and troubleshoot complex issues.
Strong analytical communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test suites using Python.
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve test creation execution and maintenance.
Perform API backend system regression and feature testing.
Validate networking and security functionality in collaboration with engineering teams.
Enhance automation frameworks investigate defects and drive quality improvements.
Contribute to test strategy standards and automation best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Playwright Selenium or similar automation tools.
Exposure to networking security telecom or hardware products.
Working knowledge of Java.
Experience with AI-assisted development/testing tools.
Familiarity with enterprise-scale testing environments and custom automation frameworks.
