About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Middleware & DevOps Engineer to manage and support application infrastructure and deployment activities in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer JBoss and WebSphere application servers.
- Manage Kubernetes and Docker based application environments.
- Design maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Automate application deployments using Ansible Maven NPM and Docker.
- Handle application server patching upgrades and production troubleshooting.
- Support release management and deployment activities across environments.
- Coordinate with Cloud Database Network/Security and Delivery teams.
- Provide technical guidance to a small Middleware & DevOps team.
- Participate in production support incident resolution and on-call activities.
Required Skills
- 5–8 years of relevant Middleware/DevOps experience
- Strong hands-on experience with JBoss/WebSphere
- Kubernetes Docker and Jenkins/CI-CD
- Linux/UNIX
- Ansible Maven/NPM
- Application deployment patching and troubleshooting experience
- Good communication and team-handling skills
Good to Have
- Experience in Banking/Payments/Financial Services
- Exposure to AWS Oracle/SQL and PowerCARD
- Experience with deployment automation and release management
