Lead Devops Engineer Azure (Contract)

Design and maintain Azure infrastructure using Bicep Terraform or ARM templates.

Develop reusable IaC templates for Azure Functions Cosmos DB Service Bus networking and related cloud services.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.

Implement automated deployment validation quality gates and rollback mechanisms.

Design and implement Blue-Green and Canary deployment strategies.

Configure automated rollback triggers based on deployment health and application metrics.

Set up and manage Azure Monitor Application Insights and Log Analytics.

Implement monitoring alerting and observability aligned with existing AWS CloudWatch baselines.

Maintain environment parity across Development Staging and Production using parameterized configurations.

Automate infrastructure provisioning deployment monitoring and operational activities.

Ensure infrastructure configurations deployment scripts monitoring rules and documentation are version-controlled and maintained in Git repositories.

Collaborate with development and migration teams to ensure secure scalable and repeatable cloud deployments.

Use Claude Code / Claude Desktop / Cowork for infrastructure documentation runbooks diagrams cost modelling and capacity-planning artefacts.

Troubleshoot infrastructure deployment networking monitoring and production issues.

Follow DevOps SRE cloud security reliability and infrastructure automation best practices.
