Lead Cost Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mentor and develop a team of Cost Engineers.
• Create and manage Should-Cost and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models.
• Analyze supplier cost structures and support fact-based negotiations.
• Conduct product cost breakdown and competitive cost analysis.
• Review engineering drawings BOMs and manufacturing processes to identify cost drivers.
• Support Make vs. Buy decisions and New Product Development (NPD) programs.
• Partner with Engineering Sourcing Procurement and Product Development teams globally.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of experience in Cost Engineering Manufacturing Supply Chain or Engineering Operations.
• Strong understanding of product costing cost modeling and supplier cost analysis.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent analytical negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Prior team leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Should-Cost Modeling TCO analysis and strategic sourcing.
• Strong financial and statistical analysis capabilities.
• 2 years of people management experience preferred.
