Lead Assistant Manager Service delivery

Responsibilities:

Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g. routers switches firewalls load balancers VPN QoS)
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs patches hot fixes and security configurations
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Provide Level-1 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
Fundamental understanding and direct hands on experience with major vendors router switch firewall configurations: Allied Telesis Juniper Cisco Extreme HP-Aruba with additional Fortinet check point
Solid understanding and direct hands on experience with Allied Telesis Juniper Extreme Palo Alto Cisco
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Provide remote technical support or onsite support for identified products 24x7 when required.

Requirements:

Proven hands-on network engineering experience.
CCNA or JNCIA certified
Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g. IPSEC VRRP BGP OSPF 802.11 QoS)
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
Hands-on experience with monitoring network diagnostic and network analytics tools
Related Bachelors degree plus experience with enterprise networks an ability to learn new technologies
