Your future duties and responsibilities
Job Overview:
CGI is looking for a talented and motivated Data Analyst with strong expertise in Python and Hadoop to build and manage scalable efficient and reliable data pipelines and infrastructure. Youll play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights working closely with data scientists analysts and business teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends patterns and business insights.
Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction validation transformation and reporting.
Develop dashboards reports and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI Tableau or Looker.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
Perform data quality checks data validation and root cause analysis.
Create and maintain automated reporting solutions and KPI dashboards.
Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and data interpretation.
Work with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering Product and Operations teams.
Ensure data accuracy consistency and governance standards are maintained.
Document business logic data definitions and reporting processes.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Strong hands-on experience in SQL with expertise in joins subqueries CTEs window functions stored procedures and query optimization.
Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL PostgreSQL SQL Server Oracle or Snowflake.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Power BI Tableau or Excel.
Good understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
Experience in handling large datasets and performing data analysis.
Proficiency in Excel including Pivot Tables VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and advanced formulas.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
