ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced L3 Backup & Storage Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise backup storage administration and automation. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with backup technologies and scripting/automation to improve operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide L3 support for enterprise Backup & Storage infrastructure

Troubleshoot complex backup restore replication and storage issues

Perform RCA and implement permanent fixes

Plan upgrades migrations and technology refreshes

Develop automation using Python PowerShell Shell or Ansible

Build automated health checks compliance reports and backup verification

Integrate platforms using REST APIs

Monitor capacity performance and infrastructure health

Create dashboards and automated reporting

Collaborate with Windows Linux VMware Database Network and Security teams

Mentor L1/L2 engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives
