2-8 yrs of relevant experience

Strong expertise in LTE/NR PHY Layer DSP RF Antennas

Expertise in modulation coding (FEC Low Density Parity Check/ LDPC Turbo decoding) MIMO beamforming Complex I/Q sample processing FFT / IFFT Channel estimation & equalization Modulation / demodulation

Proficiency in C/C MATLAB real time embedded systems FPGA/ASIC/GPU/ based programming

Experience with fronthaul (CPRI/eCPRI) and L1 acceleration

PHY/RF software development experience

Additional years of driving delivery of 4G/5G L1 programs

Roles & Responsibilities

Design and implement LTE/NR PHY algorithms and procedures

Review and Mentor high performance L1 teams towards delivery excellence in the following:

Optimize L1 for latency throughput and CPU/DSP/GPU/FPGA utilization

Interface with Radio/RF L2 and fronthaul subsystems

Debug PHY issues using logs IQ capture and lab equipment

Ability to drive large scale 4G/5G L1 product development sustenance and customer support programs involving multiple variants of eNodeBs/gNodeBs in various forms including vRAN/ORAN/custom

Ability to communicate with senior levels of internal and external stakeholders
