Werelooking fora Platform InfrastructureEngineer to join our Platform InfrastructureOperationsTeam in this role you willbe responsible forthe operational health maintenance and reliability of the Kubernetes infrastructureand in-clusterservicesthat underpin Anaplans SaaS product offering.

You will focus onmaintainingthe stability and performance of our large-scale production environments. This includesparticipatingin on-call rotations responding to incidents performing essential maintenance and supporting our developer teamswith Kubernetes related queries and asks. This is a hands-on role where you will work with a broad range of modern infrastructure technologies to ensure our platform is secure resilient and efficient. This role will report directly to the Engineering Manager.

Your Impact

• Perform routine maintenance upgrades and patching across our Kubernetes clustersandincluster servicesto ensure stability and security.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues performing root causeanalysisandparticipatinginincident/problem management processes.

• Address and remediate security vulnerabilities within the platformin a timely manner.

• Collaborate withdevelopmentteamsaddressing queries and requests related toKubernetes and infrastructure.

• Contribute to automation efforts to reduce manual tasks and improve system reliability.

• Develop and improve observability bydeveloping dashboardsand alertingwithinGrafanato drive improvementsin MTTD and MTTR.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science mathematics engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

• Hands-on experience managing and supporting infrastructure in a Public Cloud environment (AWS GCP or Azure).

• Strong operational experience with Kubernetes in a production environment including troubleshooting and maintenance.

• A solid understanding ofLinuxsystem administration.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tooling such as Terraform.

• Experience working in an operational context including an understanding of incident management and on-call responsibilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Observability tools such as Grafana Prometheus orOpenTelemetry.

• Experience with Kubernetes in-cluster services like Ingress Controllers ( NGINX) Cert ManagerandaService Mesh().

• Software development or scripting skills for automation (e.g. Python Go or Bash).

• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.

• Understanding ofAgile/Kanban methodologies.
