We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Kitchen Supervisor. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen operations and staff.
- Ensure food quality and hygiene standards are maintained.
- Monitor food preparation and production schedules.
- Manage kitchen inventory and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Train and guide kitchen assistants and helpers.
- Coordinate with management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Required Skills
- Kitchen Operations Management Daily supervision of production.
- Food Safety & Hygiene Maintain cleanliness and compliance.
- Team Leadership Manage and motivate kitchen staff.
- Inventory Management Monitor stock and reduce wastage.
- Quality Control Ensure consistent product quality.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in bakery or sweets production.
- Basic knowledge of costing and inventory records.
- Problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Work Experience Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in kitchen supervision or a similar role. Experience in a bakery sweets production or commercial kitchen environment is preferred.
Education
- Minimum: Typical Higher Secondary/Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
- Preferred: Diploma in Catering or Hotel Management.
- Additional Certifications: Food Safety certification (preferred).
Required Skills:
Customer Interaction: Handle customer issues professionally ensuring a customer-first approach. Empower the team to prioritize customer needs and recommend products effectively. Team Leadership: Excel in a customer-facing role leveraging strong product knowledge. Communicate clearly with the team setting goals and providing regular feedback to foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Operational Management: Collaborate with the store manager to develop the team effectively. Manage sales targets minimize waste and maintain adept stock management. Scheduling and Maintenance: Ensure efficient team scheduling and uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Address in-store maintenance and emergency issues promptly and efficiently. Standards Compliance: Uphold food safety standards and confidently manage DM & AD standards during inspections.
