Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake hydraulic design and analysis of rural drinking water supply systems including source-to-service delivery infrastructure.
- Develop and review hydraulic models for transmission and distribution networks.
- Determine design flows pipe diameters pumping requirements storage capacities and pressure zones.
- Carry out surge analysis and recommend appropriate surge protection measures.
- Review designs drawings calculations and contractor submissions to ensure technical compliance.
- Coordinate with structural mechanical electrical and pipeline design teams for integrated project delivery.
- Support optimization of water supply schemes to improve efficiency reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in design reviews technical evaluations and project planning activities.
- Provide technical support during construction testing commissioning and performance verification of water supply systems.
- Prepare hydraulic design reports technical notes and project documentation.
