Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Linux Administrator to manage and maintain our server infrastructure and ensure high availability security and performance across all environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Linux systems cloud technologies scripting and infrastructure management with the ability to work in a 24x7 operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support Linux infrastructure to ensure 24x7x365 uptime and system availability
• Manage monitor and optimize server performance and infrastructure health
• Handle installation configuration and maintenance of Linux servers and related services
• Implement software upgrades security patches and hotfixes across servers and systems
• Perform troubleshooting fault analysis and log monitoring for system issues and performance exceptions
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and deployment processes
• Manage cloud infrastructure and related services in AWS environments
• Maintain best practices for system security scalability and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure stability and automation strategies
• Support backup disaster recovery and system recovery processes

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux distributions including RedHat CentOS and Ubuntu
• Knowledge of FTP DNS DHCP SSL IPsec and related networking protocols
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2 S3 RDS and VPC
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and/or MariaDB databases
• Familiarity with VMware virtualization and SAN storage concepts
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting Perl or Python scripting
• Good understanding of networking protocols like DNS HTTP LDAP SMTP and SNMP
• Strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Linux certifications such as RHCE RHCT or LPIC will be an added advantage
• Experience in handling production server environments and telecom infrastructure preferred

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• Relevant experience as a Linux Administrator System Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer
