Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Garment Store In-Charge to manage the day-to-day operations of the garment store including inventory control stock movement receiving and issuing materials documentation and coordination with production and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations and maintain proper stock levels.
- Receive inspect count and record garments fabrics trims accessories and other materials.
- Maintain accurate GRN stock registers issue slips and inventory records.
- Issue materials to production and other departments as per approved requirements.
- Monitor stock movement and ensure proper storage and identification of materials.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Prevent stock damage shortage wastage and unauthorized movement.
- Coordinate with Purchase Production Quality and Accounts departments.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards in the store.
- Track slow-moving excess damaged and obsolete inventory.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports for management.
- Supervise store staff and allocate daily responsibilities.
- Ensure all store activities follow company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of garment/fashion inventory and store management.
- Strong understanding of stock control and documentation.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage a team and work under deadlines.
Education
Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain Inventory Management Garment Technology or a related field preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience in a garment manufacturing unit apparel warehouse fashion retail store or textile company will be preferred.
