IT Support Engineer
Job Summary
Role Overview
The IT Support Engineer will serve in a generalist capacity supporting all IT systems and services across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring operational stability reliability and security for both India-based offices and global locations. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical support manage Microsoft cloud environments and contribute to maintaining a secure and efficient IT infrastructure.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Azure & Entra Administration
Administer Microsoft 365 Azure and Entra environments
Manage support and configure Microsoft Office suite applications for staff
Administer SharePoint Online ensuring security availability performance interoperability and reliability
Support and maintain enterprise-level Microsoft Exchange Online infrastructure
General IT Support (End-User Support & Training)
Provide training and guidance to end-users on Microsoft 365 tools and collaboration platforms (Office Suite Teams OneDrive Outlook etc.)
Deliver end-user support for hardware software and IT services
Perform new user onboarding including workstation setup software installation telephone configuration and network printing
Maintain and support IT infrastructure components such as firewalls switches and Wi-Fi systems including monitoring and troubleshooting
Operational Security Maintenance & Governance
Ensure high availability and reliability of systems targeting 24/7/365 uptime
Perform software updates patches BIOS and firmware upgrades as required
Monitor backup systems to ensure business continuity
Oversee antivirus platforms to maintain security compliance and coverage
Maintain accurate and up-to-date hardware inventory using tracking tools
Conduct periodic audits of user accounts software and services

Qualifications & Skills
Core Requirements
Excellent communication skills with strong command of spoken and written English
Strong commitment to customer service and user satisfaction
Proven help desk experience with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
Technical Expertise
Local Active Directory (User management DNS DHCP) Expert level
Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Expert level
Entra Active Directory Strong experience
Exchange Online Working knowledge
Azure Working knowledge
