IP Law Specialist

Were looking for an experienced IP Specialist to join the Anaqua Law this role youll become an expert in our AQX law engine playing a critical part in keeping this platforms legal data accurate and up to date for customers worldwide. • Learn and master all aspects of Anaquas law engine which powers IP deadline calculations workflows and legal rules used by customers worldwide
• Conduct legal research to support quarterly law updates capturing rule changes across all IP types and jurisdictions globally
• Provide backup coverage across all stages of the quarterly law update process
• Assist with a variety of law-related projects including research analysis and ad hoc tasks as needed

What youll need to be successful:

• Bachelors Degree & 2-3 years of recent hands-on IP paralegal or docketing experience spanning the full IP lifecycle from filing through to maintenance and abandonment across Patents Industrial Designs and Trademarks in multiple jurisdictions worldwide
• Strong analytical skills and the confidence to set priorities exercise sound independent judgement and take ownership of your work
• The ability to interpret analyze and clearly communicate complex IP laws and regulations to a variety of audiences
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel
• A highly organized self-motivated working style with a track record of consistently meeting deadlines
• Bonus points for: Direct experience using Anaquas AQX software
