Job Summary
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
Technical and Industry Experience
- Minimum 7 years experience in Instrumentation design onshore /offshore projects.
- Developing technical and practical instrumentation & controls design and drafting skills in the same or similar industry.
- Detailed knowledge of 2D and/or 3D (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation) drafting systems.
- Knowledge of E3D and/or S3D.
- Familiarity with 3D design systems E3D or S3D would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Auto Lisp Programming.
- 3D Model creation Menu and/or Macro compilation skills.
- Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
- SP3D/E3D Extraction and preparation of Location Plan and Cable Tray Layouts.
- Design/ drafting of interconnection mounting details junction box wiring diagrams instrument loop diagrams instrument schedule preparation of cable schedule / material take off schedule location / tray routine layouts interface diagrams designing / drafting of material take off schedules.
Education Qualifications Accreditation Training Required:
- A recognized ITI / Diploma in the relevant discipline or equivalent.

The Role
As an Instrumentation Designer Level I with Worley you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
Purpose
You will provide Instrumentation Engineering services to Worley and its customers and may provide technical support within the Instrumentation team.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver instrumentation & controls specific design and drafting services that meet Worley the customers and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Perform design and drafting assignments on projects whilst meeting project requirements on time and within budget.
- Perform instrumentation & controls specific design and drafting services such as:
- Identify and report changes to project scope;
- Prepare engineering drawings and documentation.
- Review vendor drawings and documents and incorporate required vendor data into Discipline drawings and documents.
- Prepare Instrument Design deliverables such as Layout drawings Instrument hook-up/installation details Wiring/loop diagrams Panel and console drawings Instrument drawing lists Logic Diagrams Schematics and block diagrams etc.
- Communicate effectively with the instrumentation & controls team and project stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships within Worley.
- Identify issues and problems develop appropriate solutions and ask for assistance when required.
