Within Advisory PwC has a largeteamthatfocuson transformation in Government through Digital inclusion. The open position is for a candidate whodesiresto work with government clients and bring about a change in society. A successful candidate will be expected to workpro-activelyand effectively on multiple client engagements over theperiod of timeand take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with.
Responsibilities:
Design develop andmaintaincomplex PL/SQL scripts stored procedures functions packages and triggers.
Optimize and tune PL/SQL code for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with application developers to create andmaintainefficient database solutions.
Perform database design and data modeling to support application development requirements.
Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of database code and processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
Implement andmaintaindatabase security policies to protect sensitive data.
Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Document database designs processes and code for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Stay current with the latest industry trends and advancements in database technologies.
Mandatory skill sets:
Proven experience of 6 years in Oracle PL/SQL development.
Strongproficiencyin writing and optimizing complex PL/SQL code.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture performance tuning and optimization techniques.

Preferred skill sets:
Experience with database design data modeling and normalization.
Familiarity with Oracle tools and utilities such as SQL*Plus SQL Developer and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
Understanding ofETL processes and tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
