As a SAP consulting generalist at PwC you will focus on providing consulting services across various SAP applications to clients analysing their needs implementing software solutions and offering training and support for effective utilisation of SAP applications. Job Description & Summary:A career within.

Responsibilities:

Technical Development

Design develop test and deploy custom SAP ABAP programs reports interfaces conversions enhancements and forms (RICEF objects).

Develop and maintainSmartFormsSAPScripts Adobe Forms and ALV reports.

Create and manage user exits BADIs BAPIs and enhancement spots.

System Integration

Build and support interfaces between SAP and external systems using IDocs BAPIs RFCs and Web Services.

Collaborate with functional consultants (SD MM FI PP etc.) to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Performance Optimization

Analyze and optimize ABAP code for performance and scalability.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

Support & Maintenance

Provide technical support for SAP applications and resolve issues related to custom developments.

Participate in SAP upgrades patching and migration activities (e.g. ECC to S/4HANA).

Documentation & Collaboration

Prepare technical specifications unit test plans and documentation for developed objects.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.

48 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

Strong knowledge of:

Classical and Object-Oriented ABAP

Data Dictionary (DDIC)

Module Pool Programming

BDC LSMW and BAPI-based data migration

SmartFormsSAPScripts Adobe Forms

ALV reporting (Classical Interactive and OO ALV)

Experience with debugging and performance tuning.

Familiarity with SAP modules like SD MM FI PP and their technical integrationpoints.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA (CDS Views AMDP OData services).

Exposure to Fiori/UI5 development and SAP Gateway.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (e.g. Git Jira).

SAP ABAP certification is a plus.
