Infrastructure System Engineer | Cloud, IoT, Blockchain & DevOps Expertise

Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a dedicated Infrastructure System Engineer to join our dynamic this role you will be instrumental in designing implementing and maintaining complex infrastructure solutions across various technology platforms including mobile cloud IoT and blockchain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with business objectives ensuring high performance reliability and security. Your expertise will contribute to the advancement of our technological capabilities and support the organizations strategic growth.

Software Requirements

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java Python or (required)

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud (preferred)

• Familiarity with mobile development environments and tools (preferred)

• Knowledge of IoT frameworks and blockchain technologies (preferred)

• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (required)

• Tools: Git JIRA Confluence and version control systems (required)

• Operating systems and platforms including Windows Linux and UNIX (required)

• Understanding of security protocols and best practices (preferred)

Overall Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical and business requirements and design corresponding infrastructure solutions

• Develop detailed technical specifications documentation and implementation plans for new features and enhancements

• Stay updated with the latest technology trends and evaluate their integration into existing solutions

• Conduct thorough code and architecture reviews to ensure quality performance and maintainability

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly supporting team members as needed

• Partner with testing teams to facilitate comprehensive testing and validation of solutions

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance system efficiency and security

Technical Skills (By Category)

• Programming Languages: Java Python (required) additional languages as preferred

• Databases/Data Management: Experience with SQL NoSQL or cloud-native databases

• Cloud Technologies: AWS Azure Google Cloud (required)

• Frameworks and Libraries: Relevant to cloud mobile IoT or blockchain integrations

• Development Tools and Methodologies: Agile Scrum Git JIRA Confluence (required)

• Security Protocols: Knowledge of encryption authentication and secure coding practices

• Other Technologies: IoT frameworks blockchain platforms mobile development tools

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development or infrastructure engineering with exposure to emerging technologies

• Proven experience with cloud infrastructure IoT or blockchain projects

• Familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile and Scrum

• Demonstrated participation in code reviews and cross-team collaborations

• Experience utilizing development tools such as Git JIRA and Confluence

• Equivalent experience through relevant industry projects or certifications will also be considered

Day-to-Day Activities

• Engage in daily stand-ups and project planning sessions

• Collaborate with diverse teams to translate requirements into actionable infrastructure solutions

• Develop test and deploy software and infrastructure components

• Review code and system architectures providing constructive feedback for improvements

• Resolve technical issues efficiently offering guidance and support to team members

• Keep abreast of new technologies and suggest innovative approaches for ongoing projects

• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related fields

• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certified Kubernetes Administrator or equivalent are preferred

• Continuous professional development through courses certifications or industry events is encouraged
