Position: Engineer - Product Development
Experience: 5 Years
Qualification: Post Diploma in Plastic Moulding & Technology (CIPET) /B.E./ in Plastic Engineering / Polymer Technology/Mechanical Engineering
Location: Chennai
Salary: 7 to 8 Lacs

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed costing for complete new products including raw materials tooling manufacturing assembly decoration packaging and overhead costs.
• Drive end-to-end new product development (NPD) activities from concept to production.
• Coordinate and execute new product introduction (NPI) and project implementation within planned timelines.
• Work closely with design tooling production quality sourcing and procurement teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Evaluate product feasibility manufacturability and cost optimization opportunities.
• Support prototype development product validation and production trials.
• Monitor project milestones and ensure timely completion of development activities.
• Analyze product costs and recommend value engineering initiatives to improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with quality safety and customer specifications throughout the development process.
