Job Summary

Project Manager Digital & IT (based in Mumbai India)
Organization : This position will report to the head of technology in the headquarters and offers an opportunity to lead diverse technology initiatives collaborate with international teams and contribute to the delivery of scalable secure and reliable digital solutions.

Requirements

Manage multiple IT and digital transformation projects from initiation through implementation ensuring delivery within agreed timelines budgets and quality expectations.

Develop project plans define milestones establish deliverables and coordinate resources across technical and business functions.

Work closely with software development IT infrastructure operations and analytics teams to deliver technology solutions aligned with business requirements.

Monitor project progress identify potential risks and dependencies and implement appropriate corrective measures.

Apply suitable project management approaches including Agile and Waterfall depending on project requirements.

Collaborate with technical teams on solution design implementation planning testing and deployment.

Engage with senior management and international stakeholders to communicate project updates address challenges and manage expectations.

Coordinate external technology vendors monitor performance and ensure effective delivery against contractual and project commitments.

Promote project management best practices strengthen governance and support continuous improvement across the IT function.

Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum 7 years of experience in IT project management with a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex technology initiatives.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously including project schedules budgets resources and stakeholder expectations.

Sound technical understanding of IT infrastructure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) software engineering principles and enterprise technology environments.

Experience working with cross-functional technical teams and managing third-party IT service providers or technology vendors.

Strong analytical capabilities structured problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate competing priorities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills including experience engaging with senior leadership and geographically distributed teams.

A proactive collaborative and delivery-oriented approach with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic business environment.

Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred.

Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 is preferred.

Experience delivering IT projects within shipping maritime logistics transportation or other regulated operationally complex industries is nice to have.
