About the Unit / Unit Overview

Enterprise Applications This senior role within the Enterprise Applications team is accountable for the full lifecycle management of the organisations enterprise application landscape from day-to-day support to large-scale ERP programme delivery. The team underpins critical business processes across Finance HR Procurement Delivery and Facility. The incumbent will serve as the strategic link between IT and business stakeholders owning the ERP roadmap ITSM maturity and digital transformation across the employee and project lifecycle at BMW Techworks Indias Automotive GCC.

What Awaits You / Job Profile

1. Enterprise Application Ownership & Support

• Manage support and continuously enhance enterprise applications including Zoho Books Zoho Procure-to-Pay Zoho Expense PeopleStrong (HRMS) SharePoint Online and bespoke business applications.
• Ensure high availability performance and SLA-based application support; lead incident management root-cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Own end-to-end SDLC governance for bespoke application development from requirements elicitation through design development testing UAT go-live and post-production support.
• Drive integration across enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow across HR Finance Projects and IT platforms.

2. ERP Program Leadership & Tier-1 Implementation

• Lead evaluation selection and implementation of Tier-1 ERP systems including SAP S/4HANA SAP SuccessFactors Oracle ERP Cloud Oracle HCM Oracle PPM or equivalent platforms.
• Own the full ERP programme lifecycle business case development vendor RFP/selection system design data migration integration architecture UAT training go-live and hypercare support.
• Work with Finance HR Procurement Delivery and Operations teams to define and standardise end-to-end processes aligned with the ERP deployment (Demand-to-Revenue Hire-to-Retire Procure-to-Pay).
• Ensure seamless integration of ERP systems with existing platforms (HRMS ITSM Zoho ecosystem BI/Analytics tools).
• Manage ERP programme governance: timelines RAIDD logs steering committee reporting and change management.

3. ITSM Platform & ITConnect Enablement

• Lead implementation adoption and maturity of the ITSM platform (ITConnect): Incident Management Service Request Change Management Asset Management Knowledge Base and Dashboard modules.
• Define and enforce SLAs governance frameworks and reporting for IT service delivery; drive continuous improvement in incident deflection automation and self-service adoption.
• Implement AI-driven support features workflow automation and proactive monitoring within the ITSM platform.

4. Business Engagement & Digital Solutioning

• Partner with business leaders across HR Finance Delivery Facility and Procurement to identify operational pain points and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
• Drive automation across the Employee Lifecycle (Hire-to-Retire) and Project Lifecycle (Demand-to-Delivery-to-Revenue).
• Evaluate and implement specialised tools such as recruitment platforms (e.g. Zwayam) travel integrations (ZohoMyBiz ecosystem) and expense management solutions.
• Develop low-code / no-code solutions using SharePoint Online Power Apps Power Automate and Zoho Creator to rapidly address business needs.

5. Vendor & Partner Management

• Manage relationships with application vendors ERP implementation partners and system integrators; develop robust Statements of Work (SoWs) NDAs and commercial agreements.
• Conduct RFPs vendor assessments POC evaluations and ROI analysis for new tools and platforms.
• Ensure contractual compliance SLA adherence and regular vendor performance reviews.

6. Documentation Governance & Compliance

• Develop and maintain comprehensive SOPs FDDs (Functional Design Documents) TDDs (Technical Design Documents) data flow diagrams and application runbooks.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and maintain the ERP and enterprise application roadmap aligned with organisational growth.
• Ensure all applications comply with InfoSec policies data privacy regulations (DPDP Act GDPR) audit requirements and IT governance frameworks in coordination with the CISO.
• Manage access controls user provisioning and system security across enterprise applications.

7. Programme & Stakeholder Management

• Lead cross-functional IT programmes spanning ERP ITSM HR Tech and digital initiatives; ensure structured execution with governance risk management and milestone tracking.
• Provide leadership updates programme dashboards and executive-level reporting for informed decision-making.
• Act as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders; manage expectations communicate roadmap progress and facilitate change management.

What Should You Bring Along

Must Have Technical Skills (Top 3)

• Tier-1 ERP implementation and management experience SAP S/4HANA SAP SuccessFactors Oracle ERP Cloud Oracle HCM Oracle PPM or equivalent (minimum 34 full-cycle implementations)
• Hands-on functional/BA expertise in Finance HRMS and Procurement applications requirements gathering FDD/TDD authoring UAT and hypercare support
• ITSM platform ownership (ServiceNow Freshservice Jira SM or equivalent) SLA definition governance and service maturity improvement

Good to Have Technical Skills

• Low-code / no-code application development: SharePoint Online Power Apps Power Automate Zoho Creator
• Integration architecture experience REST/SOAP APIs middleware platforms (MuleSoft Zoho Flow Azure Integration Services Power Automate)
• Cloud platform exposure Microsoft Azure or AWS; experience with cloud-hosted ERP/SaaS applications
• Agile / Scrum delivery methodology; familiarity with project management tools (Jira MS Project Azure DevOps)
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (DPDP Act GDPR) and IT audit/compliance frameworks; prior GCC or fast-growing IT organisation experience

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or a related field; MBA or PG in IT Management is an advantage.
• 1015 years of progressive experience in enterprise applications ERP programme delivery and IT management.
• Proven track record of at least 23 full-cycle Tier-1 ERP implementations (SAP S/4HANA SuccessFactors Oracle ERP/HCM/PPM or equivalent) in a GCC manufacturing or services organisation.
• Professional certifications preferred: SAP Certified Application Associate Oracle Cloud Certified PMP / PRINCE2 ITIL v4.
