SAP DRC Solution Architect
Job Summary:
The SAP DRC Solution Architect will be responsible for designing the end-to-end solution architecture for e-Invoicing statutory reporting and government integrations across multiple countries. This role demands deep functional technical and integration expertise in SAP DRC SAP S/4HANA tax processes and external tax ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the DRC solution roadmap architecture and implementation strategy.
- Lead multi-country e-Invoicing and statutory reporting rollouts using SAP DRC.
- Define architecture for inbound/outbound APIs proxy services BTP services AIF and SAP Integration Suite.
- Collaborate with tax SMEs SAP functional areas and technical teams to ensure end-to-end compliance.
- Design integration frameworks between SAP DRC government portals and external tax engines.
- Drive Fit-Gap analysis and ensure compliance with local country mandates.
- Review configurations mapping error handling and system performance optimization.
- Provide governance quality checks and sign-off for solution design.
- Lead workshops with tax authorities auditors and client leadership teams.
Required Skills
- SAP DRC architecture expertise (e-Invoicing E-Reporting SAF-T VAT returns real-time reporting).
- Strong SAP S/4HANA knowledge in FI SD MM tax flows.
- Understanding of global compliance (Italy SDI Mexico CFDI India IRN EU B2B mandates Saudi ZATCA etc.).
- Strong API IDoc BTP CPI Event Mesh understanding.
- Excellent client-facing and leadership skills.
Desirable Skills
- External tax engine experience: Vertex Thomson Reuters Avalara.
- Experience in multi-country tax digitalization projects.
- Prior consulting/Big 4 background.
