The Role

As a HSE Advisor (Global/Regional HSE Services) with Worley you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

Purpose of the Role

The HSE Advisor provides generalist HSE support to Global HSE and/or Regional HSE teams across the Americas EMEA APAC and India. The role supports consistent application of Worleys HSE management system including performance reporting HSE-related assurance activities HSE improvement programs and HSE inputs to proposals across projects offices and regions.

This role is intentionally broad and is designed to build enterpriselevel HSE capability over time. Advisors are expected to work flexibly across multiple elements of HSE management progressively expanding their skills and exposure rather than operating only in narrow taskbased roles. While the mix of work will vary depending on regional priorities and business demand the expectations for quality consistency and governance are applied globally.

The role operates within a global matrixed environment and requires effective collaboration with Global HSE Regional HSE and other corporate functions. Advisors contribute under direction and guidance applying sound judgement and identifying issues trends and improvement opportunities as part of normal service delivery.

Advisors may indicate a preferred region of focus (Global Americas APAC & India or EMEA); however allocation is based on business need and cannot be guaranteed. Flexible working arrangements may be supported noting that the role may require work outside standard business hours at times to meet global operational requirements.

In some regions a Lead Advisor may be appointed to provide daytoday coaching coordination and guidance to other Advisors without formal line management accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • General HSE support

    • Provide day-to-day HSE support to assigned global or regional HSE teams across multiple elements of the HSE lifecycle.

    • Support projects offices and functions to implement Worleys HSE Management System and associated standards in a consistent and practical manner.

    • Contribute to the development implementation and continuous improvement of HSE programs campaigns and guidance materials (e.g. Safety Week Life programs).

    • Prepare and contribute to routine HSE performance reporting including weekly monthly quarterly Group and Executive reports.

    • Analyze HSE data to identify trends emerging risks and improvement opportunities and support development of clear evidencebased narrative insights for leaders.

    • Support coordination and supply of papers and materials for quarterly business reviews the Executive HSS Committee (EHSSC) and the Board HSS Committee as required.

  • HSE assurance audits and assessments

    • Coordinating and stewarding close out of overdue HSE-related actions with individual assignees.

    • Support HSE assurance activities including internal audits assessments and reviews for example event review boards (ERB).

    • Assist with trend analysis of HSE audit and assessment findings and tracking of corrective and preventive actions.

    • Contribute to the coordination of HSE-related ISO aligned activities (e.g. ISO 45001 ISO 14001) and e-compliance platforms as required by Regional or Global HSE.

  • Proposals programs and risk support

    • Support HSE inputs to proposals and tenders including preparation of HSE plans responses and supporting materials.

    • Participate in proposalphase qualitative risk workshops and risk activities on behalf of the HSE function as required.

    • Support the implementation of HSE improvement programs and change initiatives.

  • Systems data and digital enablement

    • Support the effective use and integrity of HSE systems and tools (e.g. Assurance System learning platforms SharePointbased solutions and PowerBI).

    • Assist with HSE-related data quality checks user support and system related guidance.

    • Actively adopt and promote digital tools automation and AI enabled analytics to improve efficiency and insight quality.

  • Legal compliance and governance

    • Support the maintenance of HSE legal compliance registers and evidence libraries as required.

    • Assist with HSE governance activities and documentation as required.


Key Performance Indicators

Performance in this role is assessed through a combination of delivery outcomes quality of contribution and ways of working. Detailed KPIs and targets will be agreed with the relevant Global or Regional HSE Director depending on team assignment and business priorities.

Performance is typically measured by:

  • Quality and timeliness of HSE support including delivery of assigned activities across reporting assurance programs proposals and governance.

  • Accuracy consistency and insight of HSE reporting including the ability to analyze data identify trends and emerging risks and communicate clear evidencebased messages for leaders.

  • Effective contribution to HSE assurance and compliance activities including audits assessments action tracking and ISOaligned processes.

  • Reliability and quality of HSE inputs to proposals and risk activities ensuring alignment with Worleys HSE Management System and standards.

  • Use of systems and digital tools including adherence to data quality expectations and proactive adoption of digital and analytical solutions.

  • Contribution to continuous improvement capability development and positive feedback from Global and Regional HSE stakeholders.

  • Demonstration of Worley values and behaviors including collaboration integrity accountability and constructive challenge.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

Desirable experience and qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in HSE or related field.

  • Broad experience across HSE management systems HSE assurance reporting and/or governance.

  • Experience supporting ISO aligned systems at enterprise or regional level.

  • Experience working with global matrixed organizations.
