Job Title: Lead HR Systems Specialist

Location: Bangalore India

Job Type: Full-Time

Experience: 10-15 years

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Lead HR Systems Specialist to join our dynamic HR team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will lead the management and optimization of our HR Information Systems (HRIS) with particular focus on Workday administration advanced analytics using Power BI/Power Apps and driving HR digital transformation initiatives across our India operations.

Key Responsibilities:

HRIS Leadership & Management:

  • Lead the administration configuration and optimization of Workday HRIS platform
  • Drive system enhancements integrations and upgrade projects
  • Ensure data governance security protocols and system compliance across HR platforms
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with global HRIS teams

Advanced Reporting & Analytics:

  • Design and develop comprehensive HR dashboards and analytics using Power BI
  • Create automated reporting solutions for workforce analytics headcount planning attrition analysis and performance metrics
  • Provide strategic insights to leadership through data-driven recommendations
  • Establish KPIs and metrics framework for HR operations

HR Operations Excellence:

  • Lead process optimization initiatives for talent acquisition onboarding performance management and employee lifecycle management
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to streamline HR workflows and improve employee experience
  • Support organizational restructuring and change management initiatives

Strategic Partnership & Leadership:

  • Partner with global HR technology teams and local business leaders
  • Lead cross-functional projects and coordinate with IT Compliance and Operations teams
  • Mentor junior team members and drive capability building in HR technology

Innovation & Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation in HR processes
  • Leverage Power Apps and other Microsoft 365 tools to enhance HR service delivery
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging HR technologies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources Information Technology Business Administration or related field
  • 10-15 years of progressive experience in HRIS management HR operations or HR technology roles
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Workday (HCM Reporting Security Integrations)
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI Power Apps and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and visualization
  • Strong understanding of HR processes including talent management compensation benefits administration and compliance
  • Experience with data analytics tools (Alteryx knowledge preferred)
  • Proven track record of leading system implementations and process improvement initiatives
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working in multinational organizations preferably in financial services
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
