Hostess

Primary Responsibilities

• Consistently offer a professional and friendly greeting engaging service and warm welcome to all guest.
• To ensure every guest is bid fond farewell when they depart.
• To ensure all arrival reports are printed in advance before the meal periods and properly recorded for records.
• Have knowledge of all menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods
• Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Understand shift end reports in the outlet and the POS system
• Understand the Servers tasks in the outlet and perform other duties as assigned by leader.

People Management

• You must have very good communication and interpersonal skills.

• As a Hostess in you will use your charm to carry out a natural conversation with guests without sounding scripted or intrusive.
• Respond to customer queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure to attend to guest complaints requests or inquiries regarding the food and services.
• Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments of Novotel Hyderabad to ensure maximum cooperation productivity morale and guest service.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

Qualifications :

Knowledge and Experience

• Secondary / High school education / Hotel Management Degree
• Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
• Good reading writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
• Previous Hostess experience an asset
