Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - Hindi
Type: Contract
Compensation: $18/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI training data in Hindi by auditing transcriptions and forced alignments.
• Review audio recordings and transcriptions for accuracy applying error codes and providing rationale.
• Verify and correct segment timestamps in audio ensuring alignment with spoken words.
• Collaborate asynchronously maintaining high standards across judgments.
• Work independently to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native command of Hindi as spoken in India.
• Strong English reading and writing skills.
• Disciplined rubric application for consistent judgment.
• Experience in transcription subtitling localization or linguistic annotation.

Preferred

• Prior AI data annotation or model evaluation experience.
• Background in phonetics or linguistics.
• Experience with audio editing or waveform tools.
