Job Summary
GIS Expert Hydrology Storm Water & Flood Modelling
Role Summary:
Responsible for GIS-based analysis and management of spatial data for hydrology storm water watershed and flood modelling projects. The position supports hydrological and hydraulic studies through geospatial analysis mapping database management and model integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain GIS databases and geospatial datasets.
- Perform watershed delineation terrain analysis drainage network mapping and floodplain studies.
- Prepare GIS inputs and process outputs for HEC-RAS HEC-HMS SWMM MIKE InfoWorks and similar models.
- Generate flood inundation hazard risk and storm water management maps.
- Process DEM LiDAR satellite imagery and survey data.
- Produce technical maps reports and GIS-based visualizations/dashboards.
- Coordinate with hydrologists hydraulic engineers and project teams.
Software Skills
- ArcGIS Pro ArcGIS Online QGIS
- HEC-RAS HEC-HMS SWMM MIKE InfoWorks
- Python SQL AutoCAD/Civil 3D

Preferred: Experience in airport smart city urban infrastructure or climate resilience projects.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in GIS Geomatics Civil Engineering Geography Environmental Engineering or related field.
- Masters degree preferred.
Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in hydrology storm water flood modelling or water resources projects.
- Experience in urban drainage flood risk assessment and watershed management projects preferred.
