Job Description:
Develop and manage GIS databases. Perform spatial analysis and mapping. Prepare climate risk vulnerability and land-use maps. Integrate remote sensing and geospatial datasets. Develop web-GIS dashboards and decision-support tools. Analyse demographic infrastructure and environmental datasets. Support emissions and climate analytics. Establish data quality standards. Develop metadata and data governance protocols. Produce thematic maps and visualisations. Support scenario modelling and forecasting. Train government officials on GIS applications. Coordinate with sector specialists. Prepare technical reports and spatial outputs. Support monitoring dashboards.
Skills and Abilities:
Masters in GIS Geoinformatics Remote Sensing Geography Civil Engineering Urban Planning Data Science or related. Preferred: GIS certification.
510 years in GIS remote sensing spatial analytics and urban/climate data systems.
