Role Overview

The GCP Architect (Network Specialist) is responsible for designing implementing and operating enterprise-grade network architectures on Google Cloud Platform with a strong focus on hybrid connectivity secure network design Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Ansible) and integration with third-party security and connectivity solutions.

This is a hands-on architecture and delivery role supporting on-prem to GCP hybrid networking Shared VPC architectures secure traffic flows and cost-optimized connectivity aligned to FinOps principles.

Mandatory Technical Skills

GCP Networking: VPC Subnetworks Routes Firewall Rules Shared VPC

Hybrid Connectivity: Cloud VPN Dedicated / Partner Interconnect Cloud Router BGP

Load Balancing: GCP L4/L7 load balancers

DNS: Cloud DNS (public private forwarding peering)

Security: Firewall rules Cloud Armor secure traffic flows

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform Ansible

Third-Party: Zscaler SD-WAN (integration exposure)

FinOps fundamentals for network cost optimization

Mandatory Skills: Google Cloud Admin.

Experience: 5-8 Years.
