Summary of the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join the Assortify platform team. This role is responsible for designing developing and scaling enterprise-grade applications across both frontend and backend layers.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on expertise in modern web technologies demonstrates end-to-end ownership and thrives in a fast-paced product-driven environment. Familiarity with AI-assisted development is expected.

About the role:

• Design develop and maintain scalable high-performance web applications

• Build responsive user interfaces using and TypeScript

• Develop backend services using GraphQL and Express

• Implement GraphQL schemas and APIs for efficient data interactions

• Manage data using Prisma ORM with PostgreSQL

• Contribute to microservices architecture

• Build cloud-native applications using AWS services

• Implement testing using Jest and Cypress

• Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git

• Leverage AI developer tools (e.g. Copilot) for code generation refactoring and productivity

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required skills & experience

• 4 years of experience

• Strong expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript

• Experience with and

• Hands-on experience with GraphQL and Prisma

• Experience with microservices architecture

• AWS cloud experience

• Familiarity with testing and CI/CD pipelines

• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot ChatGPT or similar

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development (code generation refactoring debugging)

• Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar tools to improve developer productivity

• Ability to write effective prompts for engineering tasks (API design test generation documentation)

• Understanding of responsible AI usage including code validation security and bias awareness

• Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications (optional but preferred)

Nice to Have

• Experience with AG Grid

• Knowledge of APM tools (e.g. New Relic)

• Experience with serverless architecture

• Retail/merchandising domain experience
