Front-end Developer

We are hiring a Front-end Developer to take ownership of building fast responsive and accessible web interfaces. You will work independently collaborate with partner teams and help raise the standard of the teams work.

• Translate design mockups into responsive cross-browser user interfaces.
• Integrate user interfaces with back-end APIs and manage application state.
• Write test and maintain clean reusable front-end code in version control.
• Optimise page performance and accessibility across browsers and devices.
• Plan estimate and deliver work with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with partner teams and stakeholders to meet shared goals.
• Review colleagues work and help junior team members develop.

Works independently on features or workstreams end to end contributes to team practices and supports junior colleagues.

Core skills

HTML5; CSS3; JavaScript basics; Responsive design; Version control (Git); DOM manipulation; CSS preprocessing (Sass/Less); ES6 features; AJAX and Fetch API; RESTful APIs consumption; Package managers (npm/Yarn); Basic build tools (Webpack/Gulp); Front-end frameworks (React/Vue/Angular)

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Track record of delivering independently and working effectively across teams.
