Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Java JEE & Spring Backend Developer with strong experience in designing developing and maintaining enterprise-grade backend applications. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Java Spring Boot Microservices REST APIs SQL databases and cloud-native application development.

Note: This role is focused on core Java backend development. Candidates with experience limited to SAP Commerce (Hybris) development are not suitable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Java JEE and Spring Boot.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Build secure high-performance and reusable backend components.
• Participate in system architecture design discussions and technical decision-making.
• Integrate applications with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and messaging platforms.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Write clean maintainable and testable code following coding standards.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts Architects QA teams and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups retrospectives and backlog refinement.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17.
• Excellent knowledge of Java JEE.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Security and Spring Data JPA.
• Experience developing Microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful Web Services.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong SQL skills with databases such as Oracle PostgreSQL MySQL or SQL Server.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle.
• Good understanding of multithreading collections JVM concepts and performance tuning.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
• Experience with Kafka RabbitMQ or JMS messaging.
• Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Knowledge of SonarQube and code quality tools.
• Familiarity with OAuth2 JWT and application security best practices.
