Job Summary
Job Purpose
Identify formulate develop improvement projects and evaluate performance while coordinating with respective department to ensure technical specifications timely availability of spares/equipment vendor development and troubleshooting of chronic/major process breakdowns.
Job Context & Major Challenges
Job Context:
Plant is over 50 years old and process improvements have evolved over the years with gradual increase in capacity. Due to this the plant layout is not properly streamlined. More number of smaller machines with lesser Instrumentation and the corrosive surrounding atmosphere resulting in rigorous monitoring of process and equipment. A lot of developments modifications technology upgradation and automation schemes are on the way. Existing system providing less time for data interpretation/analysis and corrective action plan formulation and implementation
The major challenges of the job are
improved methods of data interpretation analysis and submission of findings to the knowledge of top management suggesting corrective action in various activities
support and theoretical calculations of relatively old equipments.
