To support Chief / Dy. Chief Pilot for implementation and monitoring of the Safety Management System (SMS) within Flight Operations by ensuring effective safety reporting risk assessment regulatory compliance and documentation management.

Key responsibilities
Safety Management System (SMS)
Support implementation and monitoring of SMS processes for Flight Operations.
Maintain and update Flight Operations SMS database.
Assist in conducting Safety Risk Assessments (SRA) and Management of Change (MOC) processes.
Maintain and track Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) data.
Coordinate and support Flight Safety Action Group (FSAG) meetings including agenda MOM and action tracking.
Prepare and track Corrective Action Plans (CAPA) for audit findings and safety investigations.
Fatigue Management (Flight Crew)
Monitor and track Fatigue Reports received from Flight Crew.
Maintain a centralized Fatigue Reporting database.
Coordinate and plan Fatigue Review Meetings with stakeholders (Flight Safety Crew Scheduling Training etc.).
Prepare and maintain Fatigue Assessment documentation forms and reports as per regulatory and company requirements.
Follow up and track closure of actions arising from fatigue reports ensuring timely mitigation and implementation.
Support analysis of fatigue trends and contribute to safety recommendations and reporting.
Safety Events & Investigation Coordination
Support planning and coordination of meetings related to Safety Events.
Maintain and update a centralized database of safety events /incidents.
Ensure proper documentation and archival of safety events.
Track investigation findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Desired Qualification / Certifications
Graduate (Aviation / Engineering preferred).
Training in:
Safety Management System (SMS)
Compliance Monitoring / Quality Systems
Documentation Management Systems
Knowledge of DGCA IOSA requirements.

57years in Airline Industry (Flight Safety / SMS / Documentation / Compliance).
Experience in:
Safety audits & compliance monitoring
Documentation and manual control
Regulatory coordination
Familiarity with SMS tools (SMS360 Comply365 etc.) preferred

Skills and knowledge
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficiency in MS Office Adobe Acrobat and XML-based authoring tools.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities.
Certification in Technical Writing or Aviation Documentation (optional but advantageous).
