Position Summary:

Plant locations is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the design implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure systems and services. This position involves managing a team of IT professionals ensuring the availability and reliability of IT infrastructure and contributing to the overall IT strategy of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Infrastructure Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the organizations business goals and technological advancements.
• Team Management: Coordinate with team of IT professionals including infrastructure engineers network administrators and support staff fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• System Design and Implementation: Design implement and maintain IT infrastructure systems including servers networks cloud services ensuring optimal performance scalability and security.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to procure and maintain IT hardware software and services. Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Incident Management: Oversee the resolution of IT infrastructure incidents and outages ensuring timely response root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures.
• Capacity Planning: Monitor and manage IT infrastructure capacity proactively identifying potential bottlenecks and planning for future growth and resource requirements.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce IT security measures policies and best practices to safeguard IT infrastructure and data. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT infrastructure systems conducting regular testing and updates.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget tracking expenses optimizing costs and making recommendations for investments in technology upgrades.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with senior management department heads and end-users to understand their IT infrastructure needs and provide regular updates on project status performance and improvements.
• Technical Leadership: Stay updated on industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in IT infrastructure management. Provide guidance and mentorship to the IT infrastructure team.
• Development Task: Employee should have hands on development skill for custom business application. Will have to work some of the application project as and when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in a combination of IT & Digital infra and Application deployment.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure management including hands-on experience with server systems networks storage solutions and cloud platforms.
• Excellent knowledge about all aspects of information technology specifically with complex infrastructure environments.
• Previous hands on infrastructure experience.
• Excellent analytical and observation skills.
• Excellent time management skills and understanding the value of a baseline
• Innovative thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional interdisciplinary teams
• Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management
• Specific experience in Agile (scaled) software development or other best in class development practices.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA CCNP MCSA MCSE or ITIL are a plus.
• Willingness to travel between plant locations as required.
