Fire Protection Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop fire protection systems including fire sprinklers alarms and suppression systems.
• Collaborate with civil/electrical engineers and other stakeholders to integrate fire protection measures into overall building plans.
• Conduct risk assessments and analyze building layouts to determine the most effective fire protection strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local state and national fire safety codes and standards.
• Create detailed design documentation including drawings specifications and calculations.
• Collaborate with contractors and project managers during the installation and testing phases of fire protection systems.
• Stay updated with advancements in fire protection technologies and industry best practices.
• Provide technical support and expertise to resolve fire protection-related issues during construction or occupancy.
• Review shop drawings material submittals and technical proposals related to fire protection systems.
