What this job involves
Putting safety firstalways
This challenging yet exciting role puts you in the driving seat of our efforts to build andmaintainan environmentally sustainablehealthyand safe workplace.Youllprovide safety support to all sites/ building in the portfolioensuring they all meet ourestablished standards and that of local safety regulationsespecially with regards to fire safety.
Specificallyyoullconduct safety review meetings withbuilding leads at regular intervals to mitigate any risks and audit systems and practises followed.Youllensure that all high-risk activities have proper documentation. Additionallyyoullpromote firesafety by performing site inspections risk reportstimelyfiresafety-related corrections and weekly safety meetings.Youllalso constantly coordinate with the building manager and Head Operations DLF Commercial/Brookfieldto ensure that everybody will be out of harms way.
Promoting safety awareness
Getting everyone on board ourfiresafety initiativesfallson your shoulders.You need to create awareness and educate our people and stakeholders.Youllachieve this through consistent sharing of success stories and best practices among project JLL teamsand alsoby doing regular mentoring and coaching of our safety officers andother site employees. Another step would be obtaining the relevant professional licenses and ensuring they stayup-to-date.

Education and experience
An ideal candidate holds a solid fire safetybackground andhasat least 10yearsof relevantexperience.You are also a safety license holder with a proventrack recordin providing safety trainings. We also expect you to be well versed in project safety systems processestoolsand best practicesultimately applyingsuch sources in the delivery of flawless projects.
An eye for detail
Wellexpect you to be good atidentifying and devising measures to meet our stakeholders business needs and requirements. Having strong written and spoken communication skills are vital and of courseyoullbe good at building team relationshipsthat is listening to your team and being open to suggestions and knowledge exchangeand interacting effectively with business partners
Your duties will involve:
Be in charge ofthe fire safety for the portfolio
Conduct regularHazard Identification & risk analysisstudies.
Formulate & review all fire relatedSOPs.
Train team onFlight deck firefighting rescue update them on use ofFire Safety related equipment and designs such as spray & sprinkler system specialized fire suppression system etc.if need be
Audit and reviewmaintenance of wide range Fire Protection Equipment.
Be the command and controlin handling of Fire & Chemical emergencies.
Conductregularfire& safety inspections audits safe & unsafe work practices
Conductingvarious typesof Fire & hazardous chemical mock drills safety training Safe & Unsafebehaviouraldiscussions (SUSA) Evacuation drills etc.
