Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Executive to manage daily accounting operations invoicing payments receivables and statutory compliance. The candidate should be capable of handling accounts independently and coordinating with Sales Operations customers vendors and external accountants. Experience in logistics shipping or freight forwarding will be an added advantage.
Maintain daily accounting records including receipts payments purchases sales and journal entries.
Prepare customer invoices verify vendor bills and manage timely billing and payment processing.
Handle accounts payable and receivable including outstanding payment follow-ups.
Maintain bank records perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow monitoring.
Track job-wise revenue costs and profitability ensuring proper financial closure of completed jobs.
Maintain GST and TDS records assist with monthly/year-end closing and coordinate with the companys CA and auditors.
Bachelors degree in Commerce Accounting Finance or a related field.
25 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
Good knowledge of accounting principles GST TDS accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Proficiency in Tally or other accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Experience in logistics shipping freight forwarding or service-based companies will be an advantage.
Strong numerical and analytical skills attention to detail good coordination skills and the ability to work independently.
Required Skills:
Manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations (Sea Air & Road Import/Export) Handle shipments from confirmation to final delivery at the customers location Coordinate daily with carriers agents and customers for smooth shipment movement Prepare shipping instructions and coordinate with shipping lines/agents Handle complete shipping documentation and compliance Track shipments and provide regular updates including arrival notices Follow up with clients for duty DO and other payments Prepare quotations with multiple options and clear terms Negotiate with customers and suggest cost-effective transport solutions Build and maintain strong client relationships Generate business through references and existing clients Handle general cargo shipments and resolve operational issues Coordinate with internal teams (clearance transport etc.) Liaise with global agents for smooth operations Resolve issues with shipping lines customers truckers and clearing agents
