Job Summary
We are looking for skilled and customer-focused Field Services Engineers to provide onsite hardware desktop and peripheral support across client locations. The role involves diagnosing hardware issues performing break-fix activities coordinating with vendors/OEMs reinstalling operating systems and ensuring that service calls are resolved within the agreed timelines.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues involving laptops desktops and related equipment.
- Provide onsite break-fix support and replace defective hardware components.
- Perform operating system imaging installation reinstallation and basic configuration.
- Carry out hardware upgrades including RAM and SSD installation.
- Support printers scanners docking stations keyboards mice monitors and other peripherals.
- Provide floor support for end-user workplace equipment including dual-monitor setups and accessories.
- Coordinate with vendors OEMs and authorised service providers for repairs warranty claims and part replacement.
- Log update track and close hardware service calls through the designated ticketing system.
- Maintain accurate records of diagnosis repairs replacements serial numbers and call closures.
- Perform preventive maintenance of laptops desktops peripherals and other IT equipment.
- Follow defined service-level agreements and ensure timely resolution or escalation of incidents.
- Provide regular updates to users reporting managers and relevant support teams.
- Follow client-site procedures safety requirements and information security policies.
- Ensure appropriate handling and safeguarding of company and client assets.
- Travel to client locations when required to provide onsite support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Electronics or a related discipline.
- 14 years of experience in desktop support hardware support or field services.
- Strong knowledge of laptop and desktop hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience in hardware component replacement and system upgrades.
- Working knowledge of Windows installation OS imaging drivers and basic software configuration.
- Knowledge of printers scanners monitors docking stations and other peripherals.
- Familiarity with IT service-ticketing systems and incident-management processes.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing LAN Wi-Fi and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Ability to coordinate professionally with users vendors OEMs and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel and work at different client locations depending on operational requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A Microsoft ITIL Foundation or OEM hardware certifications.
- Experience working in an enterprise environment or providing support at multiple client locations.
- Familiarity with asset management warranty tracking and preventive-maintenance schedules.

Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration HR or a related field. 2 years of experience in office administration or a similar role. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficient in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook). Familiarity with insurance coordination and asset management systems is a plus.
