## About the Role
Reporting to the Development Manager the Fenergo Configurator will take ownership of the day-to-day configuration of Fenergo (SaaS) platform. This role involves working closely with and taking direction from our AML teams to shape and solidify business requirements translate them into well-structured platform configuration and manage changes through build testing and release. This is a hands-on configuration role rather than a software development position. Success will be achieved by understanding what the business needs configuring the platform to meet those needs and providing a dependable level of support to the operational teams who rely on it. This position formalizes configuration activity currently carried out by operational staff providing dedicated ownership and continuity for the platform going forward.

## Key Responsibilities
### Platform Configuration
- Configure and maintain Fenergo (SaaS) platform including client journeys workflows policy and regulatory rules risk assessment configuration screens and document requirements.
- Deliver configuration changes in a controlled manner across environments following change management and release processes.
- Maintain platform reference data user roles and permissions in line with agreed governance.
- Keep up to date with Fenergo product releases and roadmap features assessing their impact and the opportunities they present

### Requirements Definition and Delivery
- Work closely with and take direction from AML teams to capture question and solidify requirements before changes are built.
- Translate business and regulatory needs into clear structured configuration designs documenting decisions and outcomes.
- Run walkthroughs and reviews with stakeholders to validate proposed changes before they are released.
- Support structured testing of changes including preparing test scenarios supporting user acceptance testing and resolving defects.

### Business Support and Continuity
- Provide a dependable level of day-to-day support to business users of the platform investigating queries and issues through to resolution.
- Raise manage and track support cases with Fenergo where vendor input is required.
- Produce and maintain configuration documentation user guidance and training materials for the business.
- Take a structured handover of the configuration activity currently performed by operational staff becoming the dedicated point of ownership so those teams can focus on their core responsibilities.

## Requirements
- Hands-on experience configuring the Fenergo (SaaS) platform (client journeys policy rules workflows and screens) or strong experience with a comparable client lifecycle management / KYC platform and the aptitude to learn Fenergo quickly.
- A working understanding of KYC/AML and client onboarding and lifecycle processes within financial services.
- Proven ability to elicit challenge and document requirements from operational and compliance stakeholders and to turn them into deliverable configuration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to investigating and resolving issues.
- A clear communicator comfortable working directly with non-technical business teams and explaining configuration options and trade-offs in plain language.
- Well organized and self-sufficient able to manage a pipeline of change requests and support items with limited supervision.
- Familiarity with structured testing and change management practices.
- An appreciation of APIs integrations and screening or data providers is beneficial; deep software development skills are not required.
- Experience configuring Fenergo or a comparable client lifecycle management / KYC platform in a financial services environment is strongly preferred.
- Candidates from an AML/KYC or client onboarding operations background who have taken on systems configuration will also be considered.
- Experience working directly with compliance or operations stakeholders to define and deliver system changes.
- A third-level qualification in business technology finance or a related discipline is desirable; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
