Façade Engineer

Position: Senior Façade Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Qualification: / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
Experience: 8 Years in Façade Engineering

Key Responsibilities
* Independently handle façade engineering
* Strong knowledge of façade engineering detailing and design principles.
* Hands-on experience in aluminium windows doors and curtain wall systems.
* Good knowledge of façade profiles glazing hardware fixings interfaces and related components.
* Study project inputs including contracts architectural drawings IFC/BIM models specifications and company standards.
* Identify missing information or discrepancies and proactively communicate with the Team Leader/Coordinator.
* Engineer aluminium/uPVC windows doors curtain walls sliding systems and fire-rated façade systems.
* Prepare shop drawings fabrication drawings elevations sections and technical details.
* Apply appropriate profiles glass hardware reinforcement fixings drainage sealing and façade interface solutions.
* Work with façade systems such as Kawneer Schüco and other relevant systems.
* Use AutoCAD and Logikal effectively as per the approved engineering workflow.
* Perform complete self-QC and checklist verification before submission for TL/QC review.
* Support quality checking of drawings prepared by other engineers when required.
* Prepare clear RFIs and coordinate technical queries with Team Leaders and Netherlands teams.
* Monitor estimated vs. actual engineering hours and communicate delays blockers and scope changes proactively.
* Minimise rework and NL QC comments through accurate project study and First-Time-Right engineering.
* Provide technical guidance mentoring and knowledge sharing to junior and mid-level engineers.
* Participate in training lessons learned and continuous technical development.
