Assistant Manager - Financial Due Diligence
Job Description:
We are seeking an Assistant Manager in Financial Due Diligence to join our Strategy and Transactions this role you will be instrumental in providing analytical insights for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and assisting our clients in navigating through the complexities of the transaction process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial due diligence for M&A transactions across a variety of sectors.
- Analyze financial statements and business trends to identify financial risks and opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive due diligence reports that highlight key findings and provide value-added insights to clients.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate financial due diligence findings with other aspects of the transaction process.
- Manage and mentor junior staff fostering a learning environment and encouraging career growth.
- Engage directly with clients ensuring their needs are met and delivering exceptional service.
- Support business development initiatives including market research and proposal development.
Qualifications and Skill Set:
- A professional accounting / finance qualification (CA CPA ACCA MBA or equivalent)
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial due diligence
- Strong analytical problem-solving and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
