Role title:

SM GDS Consulting Private Equity (Technical Architect)

Position Summary:

As part of our EY-GDS Private Equity Sector team we help our Private Equity clients solve complex business challenges with the help of technology. We leverage technology to create value for PE portfolio companies in sectors like Banking Insurance Manufacturing Healthcare Retail Manufacturing and Auto and in functions like Tech transformation Supply Chain Finance and many others.

We are looking for all-rounded hands-on technical architects who will be responsible for defining and delivering technology solutions and designs for business-critical global products and platforms for PE clients hosted in a variety of infrastructure/application environments considering reusability scalability and reliability in alignment with EYs mission and strategy!

Your key responsibilities

• Oversee portfolio of technical solutions & projects at EY GDS ensuring alignment to business objectives and strategy for PE clients
• Provide technical solutions & demonstrate expertise in
• Enterprise architecture cloud computing data management and cybersecurity.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages software development frameworks and DevOps practices.
• Experience with ERP CRM and other enterprise systems.
• Cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP) and their services integration data and security architectures.
• Lead the overall technology architecture and design landscape of the product/platform throughout its lifecycle for PE
• Demonstrate leadership in translating business requirements into architecture blueprints and design; and work with multi-disciplinary teams (e.g. engineering platform infosec) for the implementation.
• Lead the ideation and incubation of new solutions/technologies.
• Responsible for building a world class technology team focused on various technology cloud big data GenAI
• Will be responsible for tech diligence assessment summaries recommendations and roadmap for PE value creation.
• Will be responsible to drive client conversations participate in pre-sales activities convert and promote EY value proposition in client organization
• Improves PE sectors engineering capability by tracking emerging technologies; and by evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements
• Anchor and build solutions and POV in the next gen technology areas
• Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process product or service improvements
• Defines the end-to-end management vision aligned to the broader organization strategy and objectives
• Identifies strategic links with other functions and geographies and builds partnerships with varied stakeholders providing technical leadership and advisory services to the business
• Build and consume reusable functional and technical assets.
• Building plans forecasting estimations and cost analysis.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

Minimum of bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems Management Accounting Finance or a related field with 15 years of experience. Graduate from top college known for computer science is a huge plus

Experience in management consulting organizations is a huge plus
