Job Summary:
Responsible for managing end-to-end import activities ensuring timely clearance documentation compliance and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end import processes from purchase order/shipment initiation to customs clearance and delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers freight forwarders customs brokers shipping lines and transporters.
- Prepare and verify import documentation including Bill of Entry Commercial Invoice Packing List BL/AWB COO etc.
- Monitor shipment status ETA customs clearance and delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations DGFT requirements and applicable import procedures.
- Coordinate with Finance/Accounts for duty payments vendor payments and import-related documentation.
- Track and maintain import shipment records reports and MIS.
- Resolve documentation customs logistics and shipment-related issues.
- Monitor import costs freight customs duty and other related expenses.
- Ensure timely receipt of materials at the plant/warehouse.

Experience: 2–6 years in Import/EXIM operations preferably in a manufacturing/automotive/electronics industry.
