We are seeking an experienced and reliable Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in quarry operations road construction excavation projects and general civil works. The successful candidate must be capable of operating various heavy machinery including excavators and wheel loaders while maintaining high safety standards and supporting daily site operations.
Operate excavators wheel loaders dumpers skid steer machines and other heavy plant machinery safely and efficiently.
Carry out excavation trenching grading site preparation and earth-moving activities.
Perform road construction and infrastructure works according to project specifications.
Support quarry operations including loading moving and transporting materials.
Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance of machinery to ensure proper functionality.
Report any mechanical faults or equipment issues immediately.
Follow instructions from site supervisors and coordinate with other team members to meet project deadlines.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Prepare lift and transport tools equipment and materials as required.
Assist with manual work and general site duties when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the worksite.
Minimum 2 years of proven experience operating excavators in quarry road construction excavation or civil engineering projects.
Experience operating wheel loaders is mandatory.
Experience operating other heavy machinery such as dumpers and skid steer loaders is an advantage.
Valid heavy equipment operating licence/certification (where applicable).
Good understanding of excavation techniques road construction activities and site safety procedures.
Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform daily equipment checks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
