We are currently seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Facilities Specialistwho will be responsible for EHS compliance and regulatory oversight risk management and emergency preparedness including oversight of chemical and material purchases. The position will also handle other facilities management responsibilities including inventory management AMC renewals Phenomenex facility asset management and any other such work.

This is an on-site role based at the BDC facility in Bengaluru. This Job requires the associate to be in Bengaluru.

Reports to: Senior Manager Technical Support and Global Applications

What well get you doing:

• EHS Compliance & Risk Management: Act as the EHS Coordinator to ensure full compliance with applicable environmental health and safety regulations proactively identify workplace hazards implement corrective and preventive actions and complete all required EHS documentation and audit submissions accurately and on time.

• Chemical Lab & Inventory Management: Oversee safe chemical storage labeling segregation and disposal in line with regulatory and internal standards coordinate with approved waste disposal vendors and manage lab inventory records and endtoend procurement of chemicals consumables and laboratory supplies.

• Facilities & Asset Management: Manage timely renewals of AMCs/CMCs for critical infrastructure and equipment maintain accurate and uptodate records of all facility assets and scientific instruments and track asset movement usage and location in alignment with internal asset management protocols.

The essential requirements of the role include:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in EHS coordination or related roles

• Bachelors or Masters degree in environmental science Occupational Health and Safety Engineering Facility Management or a related field

• Knowledge of EHS management systems and standards & ability to prepare and maintain detailed safety and compliance documentation.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• candidates with previous experience in EHS coordination and facility management.
