Position Summary

Harness is seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager to lead the charge in building the next generation of innovations in Continuous Delivery (CD). This isnt just another leadership roleits a unique opportunity to design and deliver impactful features that delight customers drive ARR growth and strengthen our leadership in the DevOps space.

In this role youll guide a distributed engineering team spanning multiple geographies developing new capabilities on top of our platform. Youll collaborate closely with customers to address escalations refine feature requirements and make strategic product decisions that shape the evolution of our CD offering.

About you

• Proven Leader: 3 years leading high-performing engineering teams balancing technical depth with people leadership.
• Builders Mindset: 5 years building SaaS applications in backend (Java/Go) roles with a passion for hands-on architecture and coding.
• Organization Builder: A track record of assembling and scaling world-class engineering orgs.
• Global Collaborator: Comfortable leading teams and working with customers across time zones.
• Customer-Obsessed: Youve directly influenced customer satisfaction and know what it takes to deliver mission-critical customer-facing software.
• Performance-Driven: Skilled in building multi-tenant SAAS platforms that deliver seamless user experiences.
• Battle-Tested: Strong command of managing production incidents and leading effective on-call rotations.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring alerting logging and Performance optimization in large-scale systems.
• Hands-on experience in various Cloud Platforms or Kubernetes is highly desirable
