Engineer Desktop Support

Role OverviewWe are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to provide technical support for end-user systems hardware and software. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting maintaining IT infrastructure and ensuring smooth day-to-day ResponsibilitiesProvide L1/L2 technical support for desktops laptops and peripheralsInstall configure and troubleshoot Windows OS (Windows 10/11)Handle hardware issues (desktops laptops printers scanners)Manage Active Directory (AD) user creation password reset access managementSupport MS Office / Microsoft 365 applicationsConfigure and troubleshoot Outlook Teams OneDriveBasic troubleshooting of network issues (LAN/WAN VPN)Handle ticketing tools (ServiceNow Remedy Jira etc.)Perform software installations upgrades and patchingManage asset inventory and documentationProvide remote and on-site support to usersEnsure adherence to SLA and IT policiesRequired SkillsStrong knowledge of Windows Operating SystemsExperience with Active Directory & Group PoliciesKnowledge of Microsoft Office 365 SuiteUnderstanding of networking basics (IP DNS DHCP)Experience with ticketing toolsBasic knowledge of VPN and remote desktop toolsGood troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and user-handling skillsPreferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Mac OS supportKnowledge of Intune / SCCMBasic understanding of ITIL frameworkExposure to Azure ADCertification like CompTIA A ITIL Foundation
